Band

Meet The Band:

London Restless is an UK rock band based out of Atlanta, GA.   Formed in 2018 by 3 friends and former band mates – the self-titled debut album “London Restless” is the culmination of 6 months of hard work (and fun) in the studio.  With an edge on the quirky side, the album reflects the roots of all the 3 band mates with powerful lyrics, haunting harmonies and the odd hairy riff thrown in for good measure.   In December 2018 Joel (drums) and Evan (bass) joined the band and 2019 sees the start of live gigs in the Atlanta, GA area.

Jim: Vocals/Guitar  |  Josh: Lead Guitar  |  Evan: Bass  |  Kyle: Vocals/Harp

Jim: Born in the UK, Jim moved to the US in 98.  Into music from an early age, he grew up playing keyboard, guitars and singing.  He has been in many bands over the years and released music aplenty.  With influences ranging from The Cure, Depeche Mode and Dire Straits in the early years to Iron & Wine, Angus & Julia Stone and Artic Monkeys more recently.   A recent transplant to Atlanta, Jim is excited to play some of the cool venues in the area and drink some of the local brews.

Josh: Josh has been playing guitar for over 20 years in styles from hard rock to country to bluegrass to progressive. He brings his years of live and studio experience to London Restless. He is from a very small town in rural Georgia and now is back there with his wife and 4 children.

Evan: Sick of digging his car out of snow banks, Evan moved to Atlanta from Michigan a few years ago, lived in LA for a couple years, then came back to Atlanta. Now he’s the bassist for London Restless and plays guitar and sings for his own solo project. He began playing guitar at 13 and after a few years found he had a thing for the bass. The millennial of the group, Evan is influenced by bands ranging from Dawes, the Smiths, Vulfpeck, and even some death metal.

Kyle: Kyle heralds from Savannah, GA – A professor of funk  and doctor of rock. Enjoys stunt boogie boarding from the shores of Tybee Island. Smells Like Teen Spirit opened a music door in 1991 that has never shut for him. From The Beatles, Wilco, Beck and OutKast his influences are varied and wide-spread.   An early interest in poetry led to a lifetime of songwriting and appreciation of all the greats that have paved the way.
